Halloween Apple Pie popsicle

  • 1 whole Gluten free puff pastry
  • 250 gram apple compote
  • 1 egg
  • 4 popsicle sticks


  • Step 1

    Turn the oven at 175°C - take out the puff pastry from its package, let it reach room temperature before unrolling. In the mean time whisk the egg, that will serve to both glue the two parts together.

  • Step 2

    Cut out circles with either a cookie cutter or a glass, put the stick in the middle, dap a spoon of apple compote or whatever filling you'd like, flatten it a little, cover it with the puff pastry dough. Paint the egg mix on the borders and with a fork mark the borders together.

  • Step 3

    With a sharp knife cute out gently the smiley faces, you do not want to puncture the dough. Brush it lightly with the egg. Put it in the oven for 15 - 20min.

  • Step 4

    Let it cool down a couple minutes before serving
