FAQs
Can I use pre-made pie crust for this recipe?
Yes! Pre-made pie crust works great for this recipe instead of puff pastry. The crust will be less flaky.
Can I use another kind of apple?
Totally! Granny smith apples would also be great.
How do I prevent the puff pastry from sticking to the waffle iron?
Make sure to spray your waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray or brush it with melted butter before adding the pie crust.
