Ingredient Notes

  • Rice paper: Thin, edible sheets made primarily from rice flour and water. It’s a staple in various Asian cuisines, particularly in Vietnamese cooking. Rice paper is also naturally gluten-free, making it perfect for those with dietary restrictions.

Vanilla extract: A flavorful liquid made by soaking vanilla beans in alcohol, commonly used as a natural flavoring in baking and desserts.

Sugar: Adds sweetness to the croissant dough and is sprinkled atop the pastry before it is baked, resulting in a crisp topping.
