ingredients

  • 1 quart vodka
  • 5 leaves of mint
  • 3/4 ounces orange blossom water
  • 1/2 an ounce rose water
  • 9 ounces lemon syrup
  • 2 ounces white vermouth
  • 2 ounces orange liqueur
  • 2 teaspoons cardamom
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons lavender
  • 11 1/2 ounces pinot noir
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 sliced orange
  • 1/3 cup thyme sprigs
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dried juniper berries

MIX AND SERVE!

Method

  • Step 1

    To make the sangria base: Mix the vodka, orange blossom water, rose water, lemon syrup, white vermouth, orange liqueur, cardamom and lavender together.

  • Step 2

    Measure out 4 1/2 ounces of the sangria base and mix with the pinot noir. Pour into glasses and garnish with slices of lemon, lime and orange, thyme sprigs and juniper berries.
