ingredients

  • 17 ounce chicken drumsticks1
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tabelspoons brown sugar
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tabelspoons whole peppercorns
  • 2 piece bay leaves
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    Marinate chicken in vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, peppercorns for at least 10 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add oil in a heated pan and stir in the tomato paste. Continue stirring for 1 minute.

  • Step 3

    Add the Marinated chicken and the marinating liquid.

  • Step 4

    Add the water, bay leaves.

  • Step 5

    Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer.

  • Step 6

    Simmer for about 20 minutes.

  • Step 7

    Season with salt to taste.

  • Step 8

    Serve.
