ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 6 ounce canned Suna in oil
- 2 ounce white onion
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 ounce dill
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the baking tray by greasing it with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a heated pan, add oil and saute the finely chopped onions until caramelized. Set aside to cool.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix altogether drained can salmon, cooked onion, cheese, finely chopped spinach, dill, chili flakes, and lemon zest.
Step 4
Top the puff pastry with salmon mixture and spread evenly. Leave some space at the edges and slowly press down the mixture.
Step 5
Start rolling the pastry
Step 6
Using a knife cut the pinwheels into 1/2 inch thick sections.
Step 7
Bake the pinwheels for 15 minutes.
Step 8
Serve warm
