ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (85% lean, 15% fat)
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon worchestire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 2 (6 ounce) boxes Annie's Organic Classic Cheddar Mac and Cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Annie's Organic Cheddar Squares
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F degrees.
Step 2
In a large pot, heat olive oil, onion and garlic until translucent. Add beef and season with salt, pepper, paprika, Worchestire sauce, curry powder and cayenne. While beef cooks, bring large pot of salted water to a boil.
Step 3
Add Annie’s macaroni noodles and cook until al dente, about 6-8 minutes. Drain pasta and set aside.
Step 4
Transfer cooked beef and pasta noodles into large bowl.
Step 5
In a medium saucepan, add milk, butter, Annie’s Cheese Powder Packets and shredded cheese. Stir with a whisk until sauce is thick, but pourable.
Step 6
Toss pasta and beef with cheese sauce. Pour cheesy pasta and beef into a baking dish.
Step 7
In a separate bowl, add cheddar squares. Drape cheddar squares with kitchen towel and crumble with the bottom of a jar. Spread crumbled cheddar squares evenly on top of pasta.
Step 8
Bake the prepared pasta for 20 minutes. When timer is up, remove from the oven and serve immediately!
