Whipped Cinnamon Butter


  • 1 cup Wesson Original Plant Butter
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of fine salt

Blackberry compote


  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

To make the whipped cinnamon butter:


  • Step 1

    Add ingredients to a large bowl and mix with electric beater until creamy.

  • Step 2

    Transfer whipped butter to a jar or bowl and cover before storing in fridge.

To make the blackberry compote:

  • Step 1

    Wash, drain and pat dry the berries

  • Step 2

    Add ingredients to small saucepan and cook on medium heat while stirring frequently until boils and bubbles

  • Step 3

    Lower heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for a few minutes

  • Step 4

    Let cool down before transferring to jar or bowl and cover and before storing in fridge

To assemble:

  • Step 1

    Toast your favorite sliced bread then spread whipped cinnamon butter, berry compote and top with your favorite fruit, seeds, grains or nuts.
