ingredients

  • 6 apples
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • 60 grams cubed butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup self-raising flour
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tabelspoons desiccated coconut
  • 3 tablespoons rolled oats

Method

  • Step 1

    Set oven to 190C.

  • Step 2

    Peel and slice apples. Place into an oven-proof dish or small ramekins. Add raspberries randomly over the apple slices. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples and raspberries and add water.

  • Step 3

    To make the crumble rub butter into flour until mixture is crumbly. Mix in brown sugar, coconut and rolled oats. Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the apples and raspberries in the oven-proof dish.

  • Step 4

    Bake for 30 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown on top.

  • Step 5

    May be served with ice-cream, custard or cream.
