I’m so happy to curate this feed as I’ve been in a relationship with healthful cooking and organic foods for quite some time. I prefer eating real food. In January 2015, I decided to try a 30-day program called Whole30 that cleanses and resets your body. A longtime proponent of natural foods, I already had a clean, gluten free diet, yet I couldn't believe how much better I felt, how much more energy I had, and how my skin glowed. I continued for several rounds and incorporated many of the principles into my everyday life. I learned to tame the sugar dragon and feel the benefits of tiger blood...I am so delighted to create a Whole30 resource to share new ideas and inspiration for clean eating. Sweet Potato Crisps…Breakfast for dinner, anyone? I absolutely love this fiesta dish begins with sweet potatoes thinly cut and sautéed and then layered with your favorite toppings. I’m crazy about eggs, bacon, avocado, cilantro, jalapeno and more! Take it and make it your own. BTW, this is a Paleo/Whole30 spin, but you could do a lovely vegan spin on yours. Crispy Pork Carnitas

Crispy Pork Carnitas served with Duck Fat Fried Sweet Potatoes • Topped with a Fried Egg and Chipotle Crema This was by far one of the best dishes I've ever created! Started off by slow cooking a pork shoulder for 8 hours in Oranges, Limes, onions, and @flavorgod Chipotle seasoning. I then fried some baked sweet potatoes in duck fat to get them nice and crispy. I used @co_yo_usa natural coconut yogurt to create my crema! I blended the yogurt, lime, and chipotle peppers and it turned out amazing!

Remember my two guiding principles for sticking to healthy eating all year long (not just January 2)? 1) Keep it simple and 2) Be prepared. It's not just what you eat for a month that matters, it's what you can sustain for the whole year. That matters more. Drop the idea of perfection and watch things change.
