ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened, dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup - 1 cup water or almond milk (more water means less thick)
  • 1/4 cup apple sauce or sweetener or choice
  • Toppings: extra chocolate chips + maple syrup

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix everything well. I like to use 1/4 cup for each pancake and cook on medium heat, never low, to avoid batter spreading too much. For the oat flour, I reserve a few tbsp of the oats and don’t blend them to give the pancakes oat texture.
