ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups white wheat flour (option to use all-purpose, oat, or whole wheat flour)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups overripe mashed banana
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 350 and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  • Step 2

    Mash the bananas in a large bowl. Then, stir in the wet ingredients.

  • Step 3

    Add in the dry ingredients and mix to combine.

  • Step 4

    Fold in the chocolate chips.

  • Step 5

    Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan. Top with extra chocolate chips as desired.

  • Step 6

    Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when it pokes the loaf.

  • Step 7

    Let it cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
