Maple Tahini Winter Spice Cookies

We teamed up with Vitamix to bring you festive recipes, like these cookies, using their Winter Spice Mix




1 1/3 cup gluten free oat flour
1/2 cup tahini
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla powder or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon maca powder
2 teaspoons Vitamix Winter Spice
1 teaspoon mesquite powder
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
Sesame seeds for garnish

Make tahini in your vitamix by blending up sesame seeds until they turn into a dreamy tahini! Alternatively use storebought tahini if you're short on time.


Combine all ingredients in a bowl, saving sesame seeds for garnish, and roll dough into small balls.
Press down lightly to create cookie-like shapes, keeping in mind they will spread a bit in the oven. You can top with sesame seeds for garnish before baking.


Bake at 350F for about 8-9 minutes. They may look undercooked but let them cool completely and you will end up with perfectly chewy and rich cookies. If you prefer denser cookies, add additional flour and bake for a minute longer.
