Absolutely incredible dinner last night @johnshouserest only slightly bested by the great company! Favourite courses were the pig ear cake (snack - not pictured), the oyster, smoked eel and horseradish and the incredible desserts! Who knew carrots sorbet could be so incredible?!
Better late than never - especially when to comes to pizza 🍕! Celebrating #pizzaday a couple of days late and finally trying out @zialuciapizza ! Scrumptious pizza! Terrible service! #pizza

Italian for the win last night! We had the chef’s 5 course menu (1. a selection of starters to share including beef tartare and burrata, 2. rigatoni with pork Ragu, 3. Welsh trout, 4. Lamb and 5. Tiramisu) and while all the food was very well executed and tasty - the lamb and the light whipped zabaglione in the tiramisu were particular highlights - we all agreed it wasn’t particularly exciting. I feel like tasting menus should be the highlights but I found myself looking at other food coming out and wondering if the a la carte was more inspired! #italianfood
Repost @ermionisbakeshop ..... After the resounding success of my first tres leches cake, I absolutely had to try this chocolate version by @howsweeteats and wow! Chocolatey with chocolate chips, just the right amount of rich, and offset perfectly with the slightly sweetened whipped cream! Uno, dos slices definitely aren’t enough! (Sorry I couldn’t resist 🤦🏽‍♀️) Also totally patting myself on the back with this shot - thank you @bromabakery and #foodtographyschool

Really incredible meal (and evening!) @pollen_street_social with 2 Katies and a @sutts23 ! Had to make the first photo the exquisite cote de boeuf but everything was delicious - especially all the extra courses! Tea party inspired canapés to start, mushroom broth with Parmesan foam, warm bread, a dessert, petit fours (including a not so petite Bakewell tart) ... what can I say, I’m a sucker for free stuff! And great (hilarious!) service too! Really lovely 😊 #pollenstreetsocial
My first attempt at setting up a food shot and using the manual settings on my camera AND Lightroom software! So many firsts and so much to learn. And my subject, this Greek Avgolemono soup, while delicious, is incredibly unphotogenic! Ah well onwards and upwards! #foodphotography #lightroom
