"Before you pass judgement on poor tofu, hear me out. This combination of avocado and tofu has got to be one of my favorite salad combinations! This recipe is extremely quick, easy on the one hand as well as extremely nutrient dense on another. Honestly, its a win win especially for the days when you are in a hurry and need something filling!
Loaded with protein, the avocado also provides a ton of fiber, vitamin E and folic acid, while the tofu brings calcium and iron to the plate!"

ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu
- 2 large avocados
- 1 teaspoons lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoons black sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
Method
Step 1
Drain the tofu of its water. Dice the Tofu in 1 cm cubes
Step 2
Cut the avocados in half and de-seed it. Dice it into 1 cm cubes.
Step 3
In a mixing bowl, put the tofu and avocado. Add lime juice and salt
Step 4
Heat some sesame oil. Add the sesame seeds to the hot oil and let it sizzle.
Step 5
Remove the oil from heat and add to the salad. Serve immediately.
