The candied ginger give the scones a lovely added texture and even though half the flour is whole wheat, these scones are still creamy and tender. Leave off the glaze for reduced sugar, but I gotta say, the glaze is pretty nice! These come together in under 30 minutes, have a quick bake and make a lovely snack or breakfast offering during holiday gatherings. Make ahead and freeze. They bake up beautifully!
