Spiced Apple Oatmeal

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk, or other non-dairy milk
  • 1-4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon coconut cream
  • 1 Gala apple, chopped
  • 1 1/ 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • Vanilla extract, to taste


  • Step 1

    Combine the oats, milk, 1 cup water, cinnamon and coconut cream in a small pot over medium-low heat. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Transfer to bowl.

  • Step 2

    Heat coconut oil in a saucepan and sauté apple with a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla extract until softened. Put on top of oatmeal.
