"Compote is a French classic and traditionally made of apples! Try this pear compote variant, delicately scented with vanilla and cardamon.
I am such a big lover of pears with their juicy flesh and beautiful aromas. I am always on the search for some novel recipes to use them in. The crystallised ginger is a little naughty and optional, but will add an amazing texture and pairs beautiful with those pears!!!!"
