Pots de Chocolat
"🤗Simple yet supremely light and creamy pots de chocolat. Instead of raiding my chocolate drawer or making a choc mug cake last night, I made these and they disappeared so quickly I made them again today. Serves or Makes: 4-6


  • 1/ 2 cup dark chocolate
  • 1/ 2 cup milk chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons boiling water
  • 1/ 2 cup heavy cream
  • Whipped cream, optional, for serving


  • Step 1

    Melt the chocolate together. Mix in the vanilla. Slowly add the boiling water, mixing thoroughly after each addition. It will look like it has seized up, but keep going!

  • Step 2

    Once the water is fully mixed in, stir in the heavy cream. The consistency should be thin.

  • Step 3

    Evenly divide into 4-6 ramekins or glass cups. Chill for minimum 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
