ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussel Sprouts
  • 1 large Granny Smith Apple, diced
  • 1 small Yellow Onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Roasted Garlic
  • 1/3 cup Plain Green Yogurt or Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Honey Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • To Taste Salt & Pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Peel the first layer of leaves off the Brussel sprouts, cut off the bottom, and then cut in half.

  • Step 2

    Heat pan with avocado oil, and saute garlic and onions until golden brown.

  • Step 3

    Add Brussel sprouts and cook for about 7-8 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Add a few tablespoons of water to the pan and place lid on top to steam the brussel sprouts.

  • Step 5

    Once they have started to brown, turn off the heat and add apples and remaining ingredients.

  • Step 6

    Stir until combined and add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
