ingredients

  • New York Strip Steaks
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Roasted Potatoes
  • Black Beans, rinsed
  • 1 tablespoons Duck fat
  • Gluten Free Tortillas
  • Optional Toppings: sweet peppers, avocado, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, fresh lime juice, sour cream, radish and eggs.

Method

  • Step 1

    In a skillet over medium heat, add the duck fat and heat up the skillet.

  • Step 2

    Season the steak well with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3

    Place the steak in the skillet and cook approximately 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Flip and cook the same way.

  • Step 4

    Keep checking the temperature to assure you don't overcook the steak to your likeness.

  • Step 5

    Pull when the temp is 5-10 degrees away from your desired temp.

  • Step 6

    Allow to rest for 10 minutes then slice thin for the tacos.

  • Step 7

    Layer black beans, roasted potatoes and steak and then top with your favorite toppings.
