"My mom would prepare black eyed peas as a curry with all sorts of dry spices, lots of ginger and garlic, and cilantro to top it off! We would eat it with Indian flatbreads or rotis smeared with ghee, OR with cumin cilantro rice! My recipe is the way my mom prepared it and is very special to me as it reminds me of home, and my childhood. 🌿This recipe is #gluten free and #vegan as well!"
