ingredients
- 2 cans pigeon peas
- 1/2 cup pigeon peas water
- 1/2 cup organic tahini
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 squeeze of organic lemon juice
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- To Taste salt and pepper
Method
Step 1
Open pigeon peas cans. Save the water of one can and set it aside.
Step 2
Wash and rinse pigeon peas. Set aside.
Step 3
Add tahini, garlic, cumin, lemon, and olive oil. Puree until smooth.
Step 4
Add pigeon peas and puree until creamy and smooth. For about 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
Adjust the ingredients depending on your taste and desire consistency.
Step 6
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!
