Serves or Makes: 6

  • 12 sliced crosswise hawaiian rolls
  • 1/ 2 pound thinly sliced oven roasted turkey
  • 1/ 3 pound thinly sliced swiss cheese
  • 3 tablespoon pesto
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 4 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/ 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/ 4 teaspoon finishing salt
  • 3 tablespoon thinly sliced chives
  • 1/ 4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

  • Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350° F.

  • Step 2

In a 10-inch cast iron skillet, arrange the bottom slices of the rolls to fit. Evenly spread pesto on the slices.

  • Step 3

Fold turkey slices in half, then in half again. Place 1-2 slices on each roll, depending on the thickness of the slice. Tear or cut the Swiss cheese into squares. Place 1-2 slices on top of the turkey.

  • Step 4

Drizzle honey on top of the cheese and turkey, then cover each slider with the tops of the rolls.

  • Step 5

In a small mixing bowl, whisk butter and garlic powder. Drizzle the butter mixture evenly over the sliders.

  • Step 6

Place the sliders in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the sliders are golden and the cheese is melted.

  • Step 7

Sprinkle with chives, finishing salt, and freshly cracked pepper. Serve immediately.
