ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • Honey, to taste
  • 1 egg white, beaten

Method

  • Step 1

    To a blender add: pistachio, sugar, cinnamon, honey, and butter and blend until well combined.

  • Step 2

    Roll both sheets of the puff pastry. Spread the pistachio filling and top with the other puff pastry. Vertically cut into 1 inch and roll into a ball. Brush with egg white and bake at 400 degrees F for 30-35 minutes.
