  • 2 tablesp softened unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoo vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon milk
  • as desired green food coloring

Method

  • Step 1

Spray a mini muffin tin with some non stick cooking spray or grease with butter. Set aside. In a small saucepan, melt your butter over medium heat. Mix in your marshmallows and cocoa powder. Stir until smooth.

  • Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine your Cocoa Pebbles and melted marshmallows mixture folding it together with a silicone spatula until well incorporated.

  • Step 3

Take a tablespoon of the Cocoa Pebble mixture and press it firmly into the mini muffin tin. Use the back of a tablespoon to really compact the cereal together and to create your divot for your nest. Allow the rice krispie treats to cool fully (about and hour).

Buttercream Grass

  • Step 1

In a small bowl, whip together your powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk until smooth and fluffy. Add in the green food coloring until you reach your desired coloring.

  • Step 2

Fill your piping bag with buttercream and use a grass piping tip to fill the centers of your nests with grass. Place 2-3 m&m eggs in the center. Use a butter knife to remove the nests from the muffin tin. Serve and enjoy!

  • Step 3

Store any extras in an airtight container on the counter for up to 5 days.
