ingredients
- 6 cups boiling water water
- 12 pieces black chai teabags
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- Handful mint leaves
- Lemon, slice for garnish
Method
Step 1
In a large bowl, soak black chai teabags in boiling water, add cinnamon or ginger for 2 hours or more.
Step 2
After it’s been steeped, take out the teabags, add sugar, honey and transfer to a large jug or pitcher. Refrigerate for a few hours prior to serving.
Step 3
Serve with ice, lemon slices and mint!
