ingredients

  • 6 cups boiling water water
  • 12 pieces black chai teabags
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • Handful mint leaves
  • Lemon, slice for garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    In a large bowl, soak black chai teabags in boiling water, add cinnamon or ginger for 2 hours or more.

  • Step 2

    After it’s been steeped, take out the teabags, add sugar, honey and transfer to a large jug or pitcher. Refrigerate for a few hours prior to serving.

  • Step 3

    Serve with ice, lemon slices and mint!
