"Local just caught by @docktodish Black Sea Bass {Lemon, Herbs & Shallots} with a Local @amberwavesfarm Wheatberry Salad {Kale, Roasted Mushrooms & Onions, Olives, Wheat berries, Feta, Sunflower Seeds tossed in a red wine vinaigrette} and Roasted Carrots. Today I spent a part of my day at the docks in Montauk and sat down with Sean the inspiring founder of a local community (and restaurant) supported fishery (CSF) @docktodish. Dock to Dish has 36 participating commercial fishermen catching locally and sustainably with respect to methods, species, the environment, the foodshed and the fishers. Our 20 week membership with Dock to Dish starts in 2 weeks - I can't wait to cook all summer with their beautiful fish! Tonights delicious black sea bass was caught off the waters of Montauk earlier today. It doesn't get any fresher that that! We want to see what you are cooking with your local / seasonal food.
