When creating a Charcuterie Board for entertaining we like to keep the following tips from our friends at DeLallo in mind:
Find the right boards to build your platters. Large cutting boards, marble slabs, slate boards or ceramic platters are great options.
Vary the colors, textures and sizes.
Include a variety of meats and cheeses, olives and antipasti, spreads and jams, fresh and dried fruits, toasts and breads and various nuts. Add fresh herbs for the finishing touches.
Consider adding bowls and jars to add height to the board
Add texture to round out the board such as:

Look to what’s fresh and in season to add color and flavor to the board.
