Vegan Meal Plan: September 25th

Hispanic Heritage Month is here and we’re celebrating with a Special Edition Meal Plan filled with recipes steeped in tradition, spice, and a heavy emphasis on family. These meal plans are some of our favorite projects to work on because we get to learn from multicultural recipe developers, creatives, and food people and gain a new perspective to help influence my own work and how we approach food here at The Feedfeed. While Hispanic Heritage Month officially runs from September 15th through October 15th, we encourage you to follow these creators’ culinary endeavors all year round (and others, too!) and use this opportunity as a jumping-off point of exploring other cultures! Flip the script on your usual cooking routine and stock up at the local latin market or support a small Hispanic-run business.

If you make any of these recipes, snap a photo and tag us #feedfeed @thefeedfeed on Instagram or TikTok for a chance to be featured. Happy cooking!

"Food is my love language and I love connecting with others through the beautiful Latin foods I grew up with. As a Guatemalan/Salvadoran-American born and raised in Southern California, most of my recipes reflect Mexican and Central American cultures, and my ultimate goal is to inspire others to whip up delicious dishes they may not have heard of or to utilize ingredients common in Latin cooking that they may not be familiar with, such as dried chiles, cactus or plantains."

"For me, being able to connect and build a community around food has been and is a very important part of my life for me. Living far from home makes me miss peruvian / latin food and the feeling that this gives me, so cooking makes me relive those moments! I always say that 'Love is made in the kitchen' and it fulfills me to be able to connect with my followers and teach them that they can show love to others, build attraction and even flirt through food!"
