ingredients

  • 3 ounces chopped dark chocolate
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 1 ounce Kahlua
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tablespoon chipotle pepper adobo sauce
  • sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow creme

Method

  • Step 1

    Add all ingredients except for the marshmallow creme into a small pot over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and let slowly thicken for about 15 minutes, or until you've reached desired consistency.

  • Step 2

    Serve spiced hot cocoa in a mug, and top with a large dollop of marshmallow creme. If you have a cooking torch, torch around the marshmallow creme for a burnt marshmallow flavor.
