Tip: It's always better to cook your own from scratch (if you have the time) as store bought varieties can often contain a lot of hidden sugars and other additives. Baked beans are a great breakfast option, as they contain legumes which are high in fibre and low GI. We've used cannellini beans but you could even use kidney beans or butter beans, the choice is yours! Add in whatever spices you like to spice the dish up a little! We love to use cumin, chilli and paprika!
