ingredients

  • 1 bag spinach, sautĂ©ed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup canned artichokes, cut into quarters
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 loaf uncut bread
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Method

  • Step 1

Sauté spinach in a little bit of olive oil. Cool off for a couple of minutes, pat dry with paper towels to remove moisture, and chop coarsely.

  • Step 2

Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cooked spinach, artichokes, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, 1/2 cup parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and mix using a spatula.

  • Step 3

Place bread over a cutting board and, using a serrated knife, make a rectangular cut without cutting the bread all the way through. Remove the rectangle using your hands and save the bread for another time or discard. Using a spatula, add the dip to the center of the bread and spread evenly. Add remaining cheese on top and place over a baking tray.

  • Step 4

Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese begins to form a brown crust. Remove from oven and serve by cutting into slices.
