Apple Cake

Recipe Intro From sivanskitchen

One bowl winners are my favorite type of cakes. A holiday must have dessert, an upside down crumble apple cake, so moist and delicious.

Super easy to make, no need to separate eggs or even use a mixer!! Can be made 100% dairy free !! You can also skip the crumble part, although i don’t recommend it

  • Sifted powder sugar, for topping

ingredients

Crumble Topping

  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (can swap in any nut or gluten-free oats)

Method

  • Step 1

Pre heat your oven to 350°. Whisk your eggs and sugar together, add your oil and orange juice gradually. Add your baking powder and sift your flour.

  • Step 2

Trade your whisk for a rubber spatula and mix it all till it’s a smooth batter. Peel and cut your apples into cubes. Place them into your batter and fold them in.

  • Step 3

Spray your Bundt pan thoroughly with a bakers release spray. Pour your batter into your pan.

Combine all your ingredients for your crumble in a separate bowl. Mix till it’s crumbly and place on top of the entire cake.

Bake for about 45 minutes or until cake pick comes out clean. Once cooled completely, place a plate over your pan and flip it over.

  • Step 6

Dust a generous amount of powdered sugar on top and enjoy.
