ingredients
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound whole carrots
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with foil and set aside. Start by washing the carrots then peeling them. Cut off the points and stems, then slice each whole carrot into three pieces at an angle. Next, cut each piece in half long ways.
Step 2
Add the carrots into a large bowl and add in brown sugar, honey, melted butter, olive oil, and salt. Toss to make sure each carrot is coated in glaze. Place the coated carrots on the cookie sheet and spread them out into a single layer.
Step 3
Cook in the oven for 15 minutes. Then pull them out of the oven and flip each carrot over tossing them in the glaze. Place the carrots back in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until tender. I go the full 15 minutes.
Step 4
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
