CRISPY GARLIC HERB FRENCH FRIES

"Thin cut french fries seasoned with garlic, plenty of parsley and basil and parmesan cheese. They are oven baked to achieve the perfectly crispiness on the outside and soft texture on the inside. These fries are topped off with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. These fries are so incredibly delicious and are the perfect pairing for just about any meal."

ingredients

  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 2 tablesp olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespook fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespook fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 tablespook grated fine parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. Rinse and scrub potatoes, then cut into 1/4 inch thick matchsticks.

  • Step 2

    In a large mixing bowl, add the potato matchsticks, herbs, garlic, salt and pepper, olive oil and parmesan cheese. Toss to evenly coat all potatoes.

  • Step 3

    Lay potatoes in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Place in preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until french fries are crisp and golden.

  • Step 4

    Garnish with additional herbs, parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
