ingredients
- 3/4 teaspoon fresh ginger root
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary, stem removed
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 1/2 ounces agave tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec
- Rosemary sprig, for garnish
- Flaky salt, for garnish
- Lime wheel, for garnish
Method
Step 1
Place a good amount of salt on a small plate. Use a lime wedge to wet the rim of a lowball glass. Dip the rim of the glass in the salt to adhere. Fill with a generous amount of ice and set aside.
Step 2
Using a cocktail shaker add the rosemary leaves, ginger and simple syrup. Using a muddler, muddle the mixture well for about 30 seconds.
Step 3
Next, add the lime juice, tequila, triple sec and a handful of ice. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and serve.
