ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped white onion
  • 2/3 cup lime juice
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 serrano pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp Siete Traditional Hot Sauce
  • 1 large avocado, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
  • Siete Almond Flour Tortillas
  • pinch of salt and pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Bring a medium pot of water to a boil.

  • Step 2

    Add shrimp and cook for 30 secs or until shrimp turn opaque and light pink. Shock shrimp in ice water.

  • Step 3

    Remove shrimp from ice water and combine with all ingredients, except the avocado.

  • Step 4

    Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

  • Step 5

    Cut Siete Almond flour tortilla into fourths and bake at 350ºF for 10 mins or until golden brown.

  • Step 6

    Serve shrimp cocktail in a bowl and garnish with avocado and fresh cilantro.

  • Step 7

    Serve with Almond Flour Tortillas.
