Chips

  • 3 green plantains, peeled and cut
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 ground black pepper

Queso Dip

  • 1 Jar Siete Dairy Free Cashew Queso (Spicy Blanco or Mild Nacho)
  • Siete Hot Sauce of your choice (Chipotle, Traditional, Habanero, Jalapeño)

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 425ºF/220°C.

  • Step 2

    Cut the ends off of each plantain, slice lengthwise and peel.

  • Step 3

    Halve each plantain by slicing across (not lengthwise).

  • Step 4

    Season with oil and spices and bake until golden brown on each side (turning halfway through cooking).

  • Step 5

    Drain on paper towels, season with salt and serve warm with cashew queso dip.
