Gluten free corn dogs

ingredients

  • 1 cup Gluten free all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Cornmeal
  • 3 tablespoons Cane sugar
  • 1 Salt & pepper
  • 1 pinch Cayenne
  • 21 Eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups Buttermilk
  • 6 Hot dogs of choice
  • Oil for frying

Method

  • Step 1

    Combine all dry ingredients

  • Step 2

    Mix together egg and buttermilk, add to dry ingredients. Mix well. (If batter seems too thick, add a little more buttermilk.) Pour batter into tall wide mouthed jar or glass.

  • Step 3

    Flour hot dogs, and place on stick. Add oil to a large pot enough to cover dogs, but not entirely cover sticks (so you can grab them!)

  • Step 4

    Coat dogs well in batter. Fry in oil until golden brown. (About 5 minutes)
