ingredients
- 1 stick butter, divided.
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 minced shallot
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 2 tablespoons worchestire sauce
- 12 Argentinian red shrimp (or the largest you can find!)
- 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
- parsley and flaky salt, for garnish
- toast points, for serving
Method
Step 1
In a large pot on medium-high heat, melt half of the stick of butter.
Step 2
Add lemon zest , shallot, garlic, peppercorns, lemon juice, paprika, worchestire, and cracked black pepper.. cook for a few minutes until fragrant.
Step 3
Drop in shrimp (shells on) and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side.
Step 4
Add remaining half of stick of butter.
Step 5
Sprinkle all over with cajun seasoning,.
Step 6
Turn off heat, and place lid on pot. Let set for about 15 minutes to allow shrimp to soak up flavor.
Step 7
Serve with toast points, topped with more lemon zest and fresh parsley.
