Basic Negroni
"To make a Negroni, you need only 3 ingredients: gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth. All of these can be in different forms, but below is how I rock these ingredients, as well as the amount to use. You can always mess with the ratios too. Instead of equal parts, I like to go 1 1/4 oz gin with 3/4 oz Campari."

Prep time 5mins
Serves or Makes: 1

  • 1 ounce London dry gin
  • 1 ounce Campari
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • Orange, sliced, for garnish

  • Step 1

Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, stir for 20 seconds, and then strain into an ice filled Old Fashioned glass.

  • Step 2

If you don’t have ANY of the tools, just put all the ingredients into a sealed glass bottle along with 3/4 ounce of water per serving, shake it up, and stick in the fridge. When you're craving a Negroni, it’s ready to serve over ice.

  • Step 3
