Rule number one, know the foundations first. So we're going back to basics to learn the fundamentals of making a negroni. There are so many flavor combinations for this classic cocktail, and once you have a good understanding of the simpler version, your imagination is the limit! Want to make it citrusy? Have more of a winter or summer vibe? It's up to you!
- 1 ounce London dry gin
- 1 ounce Campari
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- Orange, sliced, for garnish
Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, stir for 20 seconds, and then strain into an ice filled Old Fashioned glass.
If you don’t have ANY of the tools, just put all the ingredients into a sealed glass bottle along with 3/4 ounce of water per serving, shake it up, and stick in the fridge. When you're craving a Negroni, it’s ready to serve over ice.
Garnish with orange slice.
