"You can boil milk and spend an hour thickening it (nothing wrong with that) but if you want an easy peasy short cut of a recipe, just use condensed milk. I've used brioche because I personally like it but really any white or milk bread will do. Brown bread won't quite work as it is a bit chewy and the whole point of this recipe is that melt-in-your-mouth taste."

ingredients

  • 3 cut into triangular shapes brioche bread slices
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tsp powder green cardamom
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 3 tablespoon crushed roasted pistachios
  • 2 tablespoon crushed rose petals
  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix condensed milk with rose water and green cardamom powder.

  • Step 2

    Heat oil and fry the bread pieces till golden, Drain on kitchen towel.

  • Step 3

    Arrange fried bread on a serving plate. Drizzle with condensed milk mixture.

  • Step 4

    Garnish with slivered almonds, crushed pistachios and rose petals.
