ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1 cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • Salt, as needed
  • 1 tablespoon torn cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat oil. Put in cauliflower and season with turmeric. Sauté cauliflower till golden.

  • Step 2

    Cover and let the cauliflower cook on a very low heat till done. Add cumin powder, coriander powder and red chili powder. Add salt. Mix. Turn the heat off.

  • Step 3

    Stir in lemon juice. Serve cauliflower garnished with torn coriander leaves and over rice.
