ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Oil
- 3 tablespoons melted Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 cup Chocolate Chips, melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
Method
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease an 11x7 inch baking pan.
Step 2
Melt the chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl for 10 seconds. Stir, and then repeat this process until it’s completely melted and smooth. In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, oil, melted butter, eggs, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and unsweetened cocoa powder.
Step 3
Next, add the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Stir until just combined.
Step 4
Scrape the batter into your prepared baking pan, and use a rubber spatula to smooth it out into an even layer. Melt the peanut butter in your microwave for 15-20 minutes. Dollop small spoonfuls of it around the top of the batter, and then use a chopstick swirl it around. Make sure not to do this too much - you still want to be able to see thick peanut butter swooshes in the brownies.
Step 5
Bake for 25-30 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out mostly clean). Remove your pan from the oven and set it on a wire rack to cool.
Step 6
Once cooled, slice and enjoy!
