Blondie Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 cup Butter, melted
- 1 cup light Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1/2 cup granulated Sugar
- 2 room temperature Eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- zest of 1 Lemon

- 1 1/4 cups Powdered Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice
Method
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease an 11X17 inch baking pan.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, room temperature eggs, vanilla extract, and lemon zest. Add in the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
Step 4
Evenly spread this batter into your prepared pan and place it in the oven to bake for 25 minutes — or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Place on a wire rack to cool.
Step 5
To make the glaze, place the powdered sugar and lemon juice in a bowl and stir until a smooth mixture forms. Pour this glaze on your cooled blondies and use a rubber spatula to quickly spread it evenly over the top. Allow the glaze to set for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
