ingredients
- 1 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- 1-2 tablespoons rooh afza
- 2 tablespoons dried fruit mix, chopped
- 2 tablespoons gulkand
Method
Step 1
In a pan, mix the milk, ghee and roohafza.
Step 2
Slowly add in milk powder while continuously stirring. Once no lumps remain, heat the pan over low heat.
Step 3
Cook until the mixture forms a soft dough and transfer the dough onto a clean surface. (You should be able to roll a piece of the mixture into a ball when it's ready)
Step 4
In a small bowl, combine the chopped dry fruits and gulkand.
Step 5
Take a small piece of the dough and roll into a ball. Flatten it and place filling in the center about a 1/4 the size of the circle. Seal by pinching the dough together into a ball and forming the ladoo.
Step 6
Garnish with pistachios and saffron.
