- 1 1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
- 3 teaspoons olive oil,
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika,
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder,
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder,
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano,
- 3/4 teaspoon salt,
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper,
- 2 teaspoons cornstarcg,
Method
Step 1
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels– you want them as dry as possible on the outside.
Step 2
Stir the spices and cornstarch together in a medium mixing bowl. Then, add the chicken and olive oil and toss together until completely coated. I find your hands work best, though you can use tongs too!)
Step 3
Place the chicken in the air fryer in an even layer, giving some room around each piece for air to circulate. Cook for 12 minutes at 400°F until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Step 4
Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
