ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon English Breakfast Tea
  • 1/2 cups Frozen Cherries
  • 2 tablespoons Honey/Agave/Maple Syrup
  • 1 cups Almond Milk
  • 1/4 cups Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 cups Coconut Cream
  • 1 serving of Coconut Whipped Cream - Optional
  • 1 serving of Grated Chocolate - Optional

Method

  • Step 1

    To make the black tea, brew the loose leaf in 1 cup (8fl oz) of freshly boiled water. Let steep for 3-5 minutes, remove the leaves and set aside.

  • Step 2

    In a small saucepan, warm the cherries and optional honey. Keep warming until the cherries are soft (about 5-10 minutes)

  • Step 3

    Next, add the almond milk and extra dark chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate has completely melted.

  • Step 4

    Add the brewed tea and stir.

  • Step 5

    Pour into a blender and whizz up until the cherries are blended and the tea latte is smooth and frothy.

  • Step 6

    Pour into two cups and add coconut whipped cream and grated chocolate for extra yumminess.
