  • 1 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
  • Balsamic glaze, to taste
  • 1 Dave’s Killer Bread 21 Whole Grains and Seeds Sandwich Roll
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 slices deli turkey
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup cornflakes

Method

  • Step 1

    In a container, mix sliced red onions with salt, vinegar, and water. Stir to dissolve salt and let sit for at least 30 minutes to quick-pickle.

  • Step 2

    Toss spinach with olive oil, chopped pistachios, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
